Mother Ruth challenged the aesthetic power of the worship by appearing as a cup-bearer in purple-pink shoes On a red carpet.
If I’d remembered that the carpet was red I would never have done it. I feel deeply ashamed.
Almost as foul as scarlet cassocks on a terra-cotta floor.
Red carpet for processions? Sounds a bit Hollywood! 🙂
