What is in Kelvin's Head?

    Today, Christmas Eve, at 4 pm there’s a Christmas Crib Service for all ages – see the photograph below for a picture of last year’s crib service.
    Then at 6.30 pm there’s the Cathedral Carol Service featuring the full Cathedral Choir of trebles and adults.
    At 11.15 pm, midnight mass begins which will feature the Cathedral Choir singing Charpentier’s Messe de Minuit with small orchestra.
    On Christmas Day there will be a glorious Sung Eucharist at 10.30 am.

    I will be preaching the incarnation at both Midnight Mass and on Christmas Day.

    Kelvin – I recognise everything your write.
    I have not commented on the nonsense of the Nairobi-Cairo Proposals becsue I knew they were written from a deep ignorance of the reality of the Anglican Communion and would be rejected.
    I wish I could have been with you it is so inspiring.
    As ever you write with such beauty about a beautiful mystery. The Anglican Communion is so flawed and imperfect, it has no great internal logic, but it is saved by our God who loves friendship (bonds of affection/konoina/loving your neighbour who can be a ‘Samaritan).
