The above picture seems to be the one that shows the essence of the Animal Blessing service that we had over the weekend. Someone suggested that it showed Opal and myself planning world domination. However, it is simply me offering pastoral care to one who normally engages with St Mary’s online.

I think you misunderstand the relationship between cat and person. The cat is offering (somewhat disdainfully) pastoral care to you.
