Autumn

The apples are nearly ready to start falling and the students are drifting back to the university. Autumn is here. The summer is over and we are not yet saved. (As the prophet says).

There is a chill in the air some days too. Autumn crocuses will soon give way to frost.

    Re: Autumn
Autumn is by far my favourite season.  I find the smell of the first chill in the air and the feeling of crunchy leaves underfoot very refreshing.  I'm sure this is an exciting time for students especially those going off to uni for the first time with the prospect of so much change.  Rather scary too I imagine!  It is exciting for me too as I look forward to fresh winter days, cosy winter nights and as Christmas approaches, a time for all the excitement that the birth of Jesus brings to again help renew my faith in everything that's important! Big reality check-but in a wonderful way!

    Thanks for your comments.

I like the autumn too. Autumn colours are my colours. The only thing I don’t like is the daylight disappearing.
