For the first time ever, I have managed to drive to somewhere in Clackmannanshire and back to Bridge of Allan without getting lost. I did have a road atlas, a streetmap and a couple of maps downloaded from the internet with me, but it still felt like a great achievement. I don't understand why the wee county is so confusing. I have a good sense of direction too. The roads just don't go where I expect them to go. I never know how near I am from the Forth.
Re: Clacks
Now you have an inkling of what my whole life is like. But then again, for about 40 years I beleived that if you were going up hill you were going north, and down hill was south. Oh what an embarrassment to find that is not necessarily the case.
