It is so hard to understand how the costs of the Holyrood parliament building appear to be rising again. One thing I do know is that it is bad for the politics business in general. It is hard for people to have confidence in decision makers who have presided over all of this.
I am sure that the initial estimates were far too low, but even so, the inability to put a lid on the costs is alarming.
