I know, I know. I have not put much on the blog this week.
Let me see. By far the most significant thing I’ve done in the last 7 days or so was go to a service in St Paul’s Cathedral in Dundee. Say what you like about the Episcopal Cathedral in that city – and many people do – it is still the place where some of the most innovative liturgy is being put together. The music was wonderful – the words of the liturgy fascinating too.
It was one of the last big services that Bishop Neville will take there before his retirement at Epiphany. It is a diocese not without its problems, but it feels very good to be able to say positive things about something that is happening there now.
