The entertaining picture of the bishops that is currently on the SEC home page seems to have made it onto Wikipedia. I didn’t put it there either.

Three cheers for whoever managed to get them into red vestments for Bishop John’s consecration.

Find that pic quite spooky, makes them look like a cult.
what a wierd bunch we piscys are at times.

Why are some of the Bishops trying to look over their own mitre whilst others wear it like a party hat?

Wasn’t me either. Good effort. I also see that “consecration dates” — surely “ordination”! — are given only for those ordained bishop this year.

The pic can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Episcopal_church

Well, who knows what a consecration really is? It was put about in this diocese that a consecration was the combination of an Episcopal ordination and the installation of a bishop in his cathedra. However, the Edinburgh diocesan site claims that +Brian was consecrated when he became a suffragan.

Other dates should be added to the wikipedia page by those who know them.

Also, I realised last night that there is no wikipedia page for +Richard H – action needed by someone.
