What does “mauvaise foi” mean, by the way? It certainly doesn’t sound too good.

Hi Kelvin – a great book – although I’m not sure she would approve of the Satre reference! She said Haze was more of a Christian malgre lui. Did you ever read her letters “The Habit of Being” – really profound on art and Christianity. She put me on to Francois Mauriac who is brilliant in the same kind of way.
