Talking at SCM tonight got me thinking about the various congregations that I’ve been part of.
Here is my congregations cv – the list of all the congregations where I’ve belonged in some way:
- Leeds Central Salvation Army (Interesting video here).
- Clydebank Salvation Army
- Leeds Central Salvation Army (again)
- Mt Zion Free Evangelical Church, Horbury, West Yorkshire
- Ivy Cottage, Didsbury, Manchester
- Heaton Moor Evangelical Church, Stockport
- Holy Trinity, Platt, Manchester
- University Chapel, St Andrews
- St Andrews, St Andrews
- St Bartholomew the Great, Smithfield, London
- St George in the East, Ratcliffe, London
- Christ Church, Morningside, Edinburgh (Student Placement)
- St Columba’s by the Castle, Edinburgh (Student Placement)
- St Michael and All Saints, Tollcross, Edinburgh (Student Placement)
- St Ninian’s Cathedral, Perth (Curacy)
- St Saviour’s, Bridge of Allan
- St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow
As I look down that list, I think I can say that I learned something from every place I’ve been connected to and there is something of each and every one of them in who I am and what I do today.
Oh. You’re not a cradle Anglican then?
No, not at all. The zeal of the convert and all that…
Loved the video.
T Rex were No1 the last time I worshipped in St Ninian’s – Telegram Sam.
Wow, you’ve certainly been around!
