People sometimes ask me (and no doubt other clergy) what the sin against the Holy Ghost actually is – the one which cannot be forgiven.
Mark 3:28-29
Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

- The Sunday Before Lent/Sundays Before Advent/The Kingdom Season
- The Invention of the Christingle Service
- The Wrong Colour of Candles on the Advent Wreath
- Seafood

Scott, I live in the United States, I am not aware of any of our bishops behaving as you claim. Please name them, who is it that did such a thing?
You are talking about bishops from different denominations.
A shy glimpse of collar peeping above the neck of a cassock-alb because the wearer is too idle/sloppy to wear an amice.
Extinguishing the altar candles during the final hymn.
Priest: Christ is risen.
Congregation: He is risen indeed. Alleluia.
Priest: And now let’s say that again like we mean it!
Oh, that is a terrible thing indeed.
