Thanks Tim. I found google sky already. Indeed, it was one of the things that persuaded me.

SlideIT – easier way to enter text. Good fun, the predictive side of it can be a bit of a pest so do re-read what you’ve written, although there is the facility to go back to simple ABC input.

Nothing to do with phones but I do like the “Want a girlfriend” advertising in the sidebar!

I’m glad you like whatever you are seeing, Agatha. The ads are served up by a remote server which focusses the ads on the viewer, including whatever you are looking at, where you are and I think also your browsing history.
Whatever you are looking it is what google thinks should be aimed at you. I see no ads offering girlfriends myself.

And in Gardening News…
By far the best plant sale in Central Scotland takes place tomorrow at the Braeport Centre in Dunblane between 10 and 12 noon.I’m going to be living several flights up soon, so no bedding plants for me this year.

Primus
The Scottish Episcopal Church has no Primus – long live the Primus.Pay attention now. Bishop Bruce resigned as Primus at the end of April, so he is no longer the Primus but still the Bishop of Aberdeen and Orkney. The election of the next primus takes place at the next meeting of the College of…

Whoosh – into the skip
Anyone who thought that I could not fill a skip with junk was very much mistaken. Whoosh – so much has been thrown out this week and mostly it feels very good to be rid of it.Now, with the skip filling up and confronted by 2 record playing turntables and a pile of old LPs…
