    persecution 2

Getting a religious ad “banned” by a company that doesn’t show religious advertisements is evidence not of religious persecution but of the idiocy of the Church of England’s press office.

We should be thanking God that religious (and political) ads are banned in cinemas.

Congratulations on outdoing the Moderator of the CofS.

Now, like another Provost, will you get a wealthy woman to buy you a copy of this very expensive book? (That will not be me, by the way)

The choir will be singing one of my favourite Mozart masses – the Spatzenmasse. That means Sparrow Mass and if you listen carefully, you can hear the chirp of sparrows…

Somehow I managed to mess up the video camera settings on Sunday, and for that reason, I’ve no video or audio copy of the sermon that I preached. However, I do have the written text I was using. You’ll just have to imagine the delivery, if you were not there…. In the name of God,…

  • And another Deacon…And another Christian

Off to the Memorial Chapel of the University of Glasgow yesterday afternoon for the ordination of a third new deacon for the diocese – this time someone from St Mary’s congregation, now the Rev Kevin Francis. The chapel was packed and there was an interesting mix of people from church and folk from the University.…
