- Twitter goes bust or is sold or both.
- The world will be warmer in 2024 than ever before.
- Another country will join Nato.
- A new agreement is reached between the UK and Greece on the Elgin/Parthenon Marbles that opens the door for at least some of them to be displayed in Athens.

When I went to seminary in Seattle, WA, USA in the mid 1980s I took a summer term class at Vancouver School of Theology in the Diocese of New Westminster, Canada. While there I met Dean Peter’s current bishop, +Michael, who was himself dean of Christ Church Cathedral at that time. I still have his small book that he gave me, Rites For A New Age: Understanding the Book of Alternative Services. Vancouver is such a beautiful city.
