What are you reading?

Oh, thank you for asking. It has been a while.

Here’s a quick list of what is part read and scattered about.

  • A God of One’s Own – Ulrich Beck – for the modern world to survive, religions need to civilise themselves by encouraging people to chose a God of their own. File under philosophy of religion/risky theology
  • The Fire in the Moonlight – a spiritual anthology from the Radical Faeries – file under ecumenical/interfaith
  • Brilliant Access 2007 VBA – trying to relearn some Visual Basic in order to mend a broken Access module I wrote about 10 years ago. File under Ghastly Programming Languages
  • Two Flutes Playing – A Spiritual Journeybook for Gay Men – file under LGBT
  • The Oblate Life – thinking about the Rule of St Benedict – file under Benedictine Spirituality
  • Rough Guide to the USA – file under Sabbatical Planning

I’m not reading any fiction at the moment, but I am watching Dennis Potter’s The Singing Detective. Yes, the Michael Gambon version, of course.

There is a pile of fiction waiting for me to get into the mood.
