The excellent speaker whose name you missed was Ms Angela Daye – of the Provincial Youth Network and Glenalmond Leadership Team
And sister of Andrew Daye, member of PYN, Glenalmond Team and St Mark’s Portobello.
Angela gave the presentation, and Duncan McCosh summed up the work on MDG’s, it was the highlight of the day for me.
Last night’s service was all that it should have been. Happy, good humoured and dusted with gold. The little organ mass was a delight. God did indeed go up with a great shout. Congregation double what it was last year. Alleluia.
Tomorrow is a glorious feast – it is Ascension Day. It is one of my favourites and celebrates one of those stories from the Bible (like the talking snake with legs in Genesis) that you instinctively know is true.
