You’re invited to come and hear Peter Tatchell give a human rights lecture on Saturday 19 July 2014 at 6.30 pm in St Mary’s.
He’s also going to be doing a forum after the 10.30 am service on Sunday.
Kelvin
This calls for Chicken stew (with lots of garlic, ginger and sweetcorn). If you’re too sick to make it – let me know and I’ll sort out a delivery for Sunday.
….surely this should be followed by “Humbug”
You can also suck one help sooth your throat.
A mixture of honey, lemon juice and ground ginger – mix it up thick like a syrup. Don’t scrimp on the ginger.
I know Kelvin, but not about what potions to take, only that it has taken me about 10 days to get fully better from the same thing! Sorry to bring such good news!
I recommend a large hot toddy made with honey, lemon juice and plenty of whisky. It doesn’t do you any good but it makes you feel better!

Nick Henderson, the original petitioner came to St Mary’s last night to talk to the LGBT group about the petition. It only has a…

Well, last week it was the meeting of Primates of the Anglican Communion in Egypt. You can read +Idris’s take on the events here. Rather more interestingly, an angry and despairing letter to the Archbishop of Canterbury purporting to be from Archbishop of Nigeria has been issued (on an American website) which quotes +Idris directly.…
