• Forum with John Curtice

I was in conversation with Prof John Curtice about the General Election after the Sung Eucharist this morning.

We touched on what might happen at the election, how a UK government is actually formed, will proportional representation ever happen, will the SNP propose another referendum next year and what it is like being John Curtice in the middle of all this.

The conversation was recorded and is available here:

Greetings from New Zealand, St. Michael & All Angels, Christchurch, where we, too, enjoyed the benefits of a con-celebration of the Corpus Christi Feast. Worship of God in the Sacrament of the Mass is certainly the highlight of our life in the City of Quakes. Celebrated in the St. Michael’s School Hall, while the church is being re-decorated, Corpus Christi reminded us of the closeness of Christ our Redeemer among God’s people – whatever the circumstances. Agape!

The way you swing the thurible is interesting. It looks like the basis of a good golf swing.

Quite a busy week this is turning out to be in St Mary’s. This morning it was off into work first thing to try to meet a photocopier engineer who was booked to provide healing and balm to the weary machine which serves us so well in our regular task of bringing God’s kingdom one…
